5 PHASES TO A BRAND NEW WEBSITE

My simple process has been developed over the past 8 years and is designed to streamline the creation of your website into simple steps while helping you to know exactly what’s required and when. 

I’m here to do it for you!

 

Phase 1

Prep

You’ll get a design mood board based on your questionnaire that will guide our design. I’ll also get all the little details squared away so we’re ready to rock and roll.

8:15am - 9:00am

Phase 2

Propose

We’ll hop on a call where you’ll get a rough mockup of your website’s homepage that allows you to give feedback before jumping into the design, so nothing gets done without your approval. Your feedback will be required within one hour of delivery.

9:00am - 11:00am

Phase 3

Produce

You’ll get a four page, strategically planned Squarespace website based on your mockup, as well as three blog post templates and mobile design so you’re ready to launch. I’ll also test the entire website so you know everything is working perfectly.

11:30am - 2:30pm

Phase 4

Perfect

You’ll be ready to go with connections to your newsletter, scheduling software, and basic SEO. I’ll also connect your domain so your website will go live (if you’re ready), or show you how if you plan to do it at a later date.

2:45pm - 3:45pm

Phase 5

Propel

You’ll be set up for success with a tutorial video specific to all the design elements on your site, upload backups of the CSS and style settings used, and I’ll share my video tutorial library. We want you (or your team) to feel confident making adjustments to your website.

3:30pm - 4:30pm

FAQs

  • My detailed framework for strategizing, mocking up, and designing websites in just one day is based on my 6 years of experience. This framework allows me to condense a 3-6 month process into an 8-hour day, thanks to the detailed pre-work prior to our VIP day.

  • You’ll get detailed pre-work to complete before our VIP Intensive date. This sets us both up for success on the day of. You should expect the questionnaire to take 45 minutes to an hour to complete. I also provide page-by-page questionnaires to gather your website content, including copy and images which you will provide.

  • You will have access to a Website Content Workbook that includes the goal of each page, questions to consider, a content outline, image list, tips, resources, and examples. It makes the entire process seamless and easy!

  • Your design includes your Home, About, Services, and Contact pages, as well as a blog with three posts and your all-important Policies page (yes, you need one).

  • There is an add on we can talk about during our first call that varies depending on how many exra pages you need and the complexity of these. But in a nut-shell, it’s not a problem if you need more pages, I’ll help you nail down the ones you actually need and we can price out the extra pages if needed.

  • We won’t have a call the entire time during your VIP Day, but you will hear from me throughout the day. It’s important that you’re available to jump on a few check-in calls throughout, as well as be ready to respond to questions and give feedback during the entire 8-hour VIP Intensive day. You won’t need to be on a zoom call that often, but will need to be able to quickly reply via voice memo or email. During the Propose phase, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on your homepage mockup and will need to respond within one hour. This is typically delivered between 10:30 - 11:00am EST during a zoom call.

  • Your new website will be hosted on Squarespace. If you currently have a Squarespace website, you can add me as an Admin and I can work directly on your existing site. If your website is currently hosted elsewhere, I’ll create a Squarespace account for the site and add you as an Admin once the site design is complete.

  • I include connecting your domain to your new Squarespace website, but if you aren’t ready to launch at the end of our VIP Day, I will provide instructions on how to do it yourself when you’re ready.

  • You’ll get 5 business days after the VIP day to email any questions about using your site!

  • This has never happened, but if we don’t finish your website design on the day of your VIP Intensive due to any technical issues we can’t foresee, I’ll wrap the project up the next morning or as soon as possible. You won’t be left hanging with an unfinished design, no worries!

  • A Website Design VIP Day is $4500. If you're interested in a Sales Page design, please reach out! Sales Page Design VIP Days start at $2500 and are available only for Squarespace-hosted websites.
