Mariangelica Forero
Mariangeica is a mindset coach and is well-known for bringing entrepreneurs together, creating safe spaces, and hosting intentional experiences. Launching The Honest CEO Social Event Series continues to support a community where education, inspiration, and support thrive. Founder of The Honest CEO Academy, she educates and supports entrepreneurs through self-image work, mindset, and business coaching.
Mariangelica is also the host of The Honest Retreat, The Honestly Becoming Podcast, public speaker, mindset & business coach, and mother of 3 kids 4 & under, you’ll often find her working late or in between breastfeeding sessions, sending an encouraging voice note to a friend, or re-reading Harry Potter.

Gizzel Castillo
FOUNDER, COMMUNITY LEADER, ADVOCATE, DANCER & PERFORMER
Gizzel is a multi-talented individual with a diverse range of accomplishments. She is a Guatemalan-born Latina, entrepreneur, social justice advocate, speaker, performer, dancer, choreographer, fitness instructor, and mother.
Dancing is one of the most important ways she stays connected to her culture and roots. Gizzel has opened for and shared the stage with notable artists worldwide, including Sean Paul, Nicky Jam, Offset, and Nelly. She is the owner of an award-winning dance company, De Calle, which aims to increase access to other women of color in the entertainment industry and honour the roots of different music styles.
Gizzel is an alumna of the University of Waterloo, with an academic background in Legal Studies & Sociology – Psychology and Criminology. She has been involved in restorative justice work for over 14 years, providing reintegration support to individuals during and after their incarceration in men, women, and youth prisons across Ontario.
Gizzel is passionate about antiracism work and committed to dismantling oppressive systems that impact the lives of Black, Indigenous, and Racialized people worldwide. She is excited to share more about her journey in upcoming events.
